COST & DETAILS
The tuition fee is from USD $1707 for the 3-week training, which includes 3 healthy meals per day. No markups have been made on these rates by TTGD HQ. Once the people attending are decided, and funds raised, David Livingstone of TTGD EcoSociety Uganda FIGA will make payment directly to our Training Partner, BioVeda.
Installment : 20% secures your spot. 30% 2-months prior, 30% 1 month prior and the rest on arrival.
Workshop dates: Arrival on 2nd Aug, departure 23rd Aug 2025.
Accommodation: approximate cost is an additional 200 to 300 USD per person sharing. Free camping might be available.
Visa: Our Training Partner BioVeda will get the invitation letter for you that you will require to get a tourist visa.
Venue location: 1-2 hours drive from Kazan, Tartaria.

Q: Can I trust what the media or the governmental departments state about safety in Russia?
A: For those that are aware, NATO has been formed as a war machine against our country and thus all information that you hear about our country has been falsified.
Q: Where is the workshop going to happen? Is it going to be on the land that belongs to Bio-Veda Academy of Bio Architecture?
A: The workshop will be 1.5 hours from Kazan (a city with a mix of Muslims and Orthodox Christians). Yes, it will be on the land that our academy is basing itself on.
Q: Where is the closest airport?
A: Kazan is 1.5 hour flight from Moscow ( current airfare is $70 ) Alternatively, an overnight train ride is very enjoyable.
Q: How to get from the airport to the actual location?
A: We will meet up in Kazan central the day before and catch a short train ride to the land.
Q: I don't know any Russian. Will I be OK?
A: English is a second language taught in all Russian schools. Many people speak English in the cities. People are mostly very friendly and are willing to assist strangers.

Q: What about accommodation ?
A: Our Training Partner BioVeda will be looking for a large house / houses / flat to rent nearby for an additional feel of about $5-12 per night. Alternatively, there will be a camping option at no additional charge.
Q: Will Wi-Fi be available?
A: Yes, provided participants are not uploading or downloading videos. But we can always top up Gb if students pitch in ($18 / 100 Gigabytes).
Q: What is the typical flow of the day?
A: Breakfast, catch up from the previous day, plan out today and head to site. Lunch & rest 1 to 1.5 hours and work till 16:30-17:30. We will have 2 laborers assisting with all heavy labor, such as mixing HyperAdobe as well as other tedious tasks. At the end of the day, chill out / walk / swim till dinner and all free time afterward for enjoyment.
Q: What about resting days?
A: The 3-week Training Workshop will have 3-4 resting days and will take a trip to enjoy a local cultural experience. This will be confirmed closer to time. Cultural outings are not included in the price, but the Training Partner BioVeda will organize a shuttle and split the cost. It will be between USD $10-$15 per person.
Q: What about a visa?
A: Based on your international passport you will need to find the closest Russian consulate to assist you with a tourist visa. We will provide the invitation letter after you pay your deposit.
Q: How can I get money into the country? I am aware the visa and MasterCard no longer work?
A: Most advisable to bring cash and easily exchange.
Q: How much money to bring?
A: USD $250 for a 2-way trip from Moscow to the site + 50 USD per day for eating and living in a hotel + a bit for the extra travel: TOTAL $750 - $1250 extra
Q: Do we need a car?
A: Public transportation is very good. There is no need for a car unless you go to far out areas that you want to travel to.
